A Community Coming Together

iCare had the incredible privilege of participating in the New Life Tabernacle Thanksliving event, where we donated turkeys and helped distribute food to families in need. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of community support that made it such a tremendous success.

Hundreds of community members came together to distribute turkeys and gift cards to families in need. The smiles, the gratitude, and the sense of hope that filled the air reminded us exactly why we do this work. No family should have to choose between putting food on the table and paying bills during the holidays, and thanks to this event, many families were able to celebrate without that burden.

The Power of Partnership

This event wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible volunteers who gave their time and energy to make it all run smoothly. From setting up to greeting every family with warmth and compassion, our volunteer team embodied the true spirit of Thanksgiving.

We’re also deeply grateful to our community partners and donors whose generosity made it possible to provide these essential resources. When we work together, we create real, tangible change in our neighbors’ lives.

More Than Just a Meal

At iCare, we know that food security is about more than just one holiday meal. It’s about ensuring that families have consistent access to nutritious food year-round. Our Community Support & Food Security program works throughout the year to address hunger and provide essential resources to those facing hardship across Greater Tampa Bay.

The Thanksliving event is a beautiful reminder of what’s possible when a community rallies around a shared mission. Every turkey distributed and every conversation shared represented hope, dignity, and the promise that no one has to face difficult times alone.
