Our Doors Are Open — No Appointment Needed
The iCare Community Food Pantry is our flagship program and the foundation of everything we do. Open 4 days a week, every week of the year, we provide Greater Tampa Bay families with consistent, dignified access to nutritious food — no appointments, no income verification barriers, no judgment.
For over a decade, our pantry has been a trusted resource for working families, seniors, single parents, and individuals facing hardship. We believe that access to food is not a privilege — it is the foundation on which every other part of life is built.
Hunger in Tampa Bay Is Closer Than Most People Think
Food insecurity in Greater Tampa Bay does not look like what most people imagine. It looks like a family where both parents work full-time but still fall short at the end of the month. It looks like a senior choosing between medication and groceries. It looks like a child who goes to school hungry because there was nothing left in the refrigerator.
Many working families earn too much to qualify for federal food assistance but not enough to consistently afford food. Our pantry exists to fill that gap — serving the working poor, the working class, and anyone else who needs us, without bureaucracy and without shame.
Tampa Bay by the Numbers
204,420 people — 16.5% of Hillsborough County residents — face food insecurity. That includes 37,000 children who depend on programs like ours to fill the gaps left by an unaffordable cost of living. Over 40% of Black and Hispanic households in Greater Tampa Bay experience food insecurity — communities we are specifically here to serve.

What the Community Food Pantry Provides
Weekly Food Distribution
Families receive a selection of fresh produce, protein, dairy, and non-perishables each visit. No appointment required — walk in during operating hours and leave with what you need.
Nutrition Education
We pair food access with practical education on how to prepare nutritious meals on a budget — building long-term food skills alongside short-term relief.
Help Keep the Pantry Running
Our food pantry runs on volunteer hours and community generosity. Every donation keeps our shelves stocked, and every volunteer hour keeps our doors open 4 days a week.
